New Voices: Sycamore High School

During our final visit to the Drop Inn Center, we all pointed the camera at each other and wrote about standing in each others' shoes.

Week 6

We met Pastor Fred Koch from First Lutheran Church and toured this amazing building next to Washington Park.

Students and residents continued to photograph in Washington Park to further refine their opinions and impressions of the neighborhood.

Our first time walking around and photographing in Washington Park produced many surprises in terms of the richness of the place and its community.

Week 3

Sycamore students produced expressive self portraits in preparation for their work with residents at the Drop Inn Center.

Week 2

We took a tour of the Jimmy Heath house, a permanent supportive housing project for the homeless operated by Over-The-Rhine Community Housing.

Week 1

Bonnie Neumeier gave us a walking tour through Over-The-Rhine of sites significant to the history of social justice in downtown Cincinnati.
